Read ThisWhat if you took a fresh Level 3 RuneScape account and handed it an inconceivable amount of wealth-10 billion GP-and OSRS gold then asked: How far can I get in 24 hours? Could you hit endgame content? Would money unlock the gates to bossing, best-in-slot gear, and high-end PvM?
Hour 0: From Rags to Twisted Bow
The moment the account was created, it wasn't a noob anymore. The first purchase? A Twisted Bow, RuneScape's iconic ranged weapon, flaunting the absurdity of wealth right out of the gate. Why not? With billions on hand, there was no reason to ease into things.
Within minutes, prayer was trained by risking Dagannoth bones in the Wilderness Chaos Altar. Risky? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. In just 11 minutes, prayer was already at level 53. With efficiency in mind, the goal was clear: focus on combat stats early using the fastest methods in the game-no grinding, just power leveling.
Leveling Magic at Warp Speed
Next up was magic, and it wasn't done through simple spellcasting. Instead, the account was flooded with Imbued Hearts and Ancient Essence, which, when combined into Saturated Hearts, granted 500 XP per heart. That's right-just combining items was now the best magic XP in the game thanks to their recent update. Then came bolt enchanting, an old favorite, where each tick is used to click enchanted bolts, racking up massive amounts of XP in short bursts.
While making way to complete Dwarf Cannon, more magic XP was piled on through these fast, repetitive actions. The goal: unlock fast range training next.
Chinning in the Chambers
With 45 Ranged, cannoning rock crabs gave a taste of XP per hour exceeding 100K. Not bad, but it was just the beginning. The real grind began at the Chambers of Xeric, where a little-known but devastatingly effective method of chinning Skeletal Mystics inside scaled raids turned into the motherlode of ranged XP.
The Mystics, when stacked correctly, offer double XP and high HP, meaning one hit from black chinchompas gives massive returns. After a brief hiccup-nearly getting KO'd for having no hitpoints and forgetting to lower the Mystics' defense-the method started pumping out over 1.4 million XP/hour.
Soon, ranged hit 80, and defense hit 70, allowing access to Rigour and Missouri gear. Just six hours in, the account was wearing endgame gear and dealing huge DPS. Maxed ranged DPS? Check.
The Inferno: From Newbie to Firelord
No RuneScape progress video would be complete without a go at The Inferno, the hardest PvM challenge in the game. Despite being only seven hours in with 85 range and 78 hitpoints, our adventurer went for it. No ancients, no blood barrage for healing-just blowpipe and brews.
A series of mishaps followed: glitches dragged him out of safe zones, hits got tanked unnecessarily, and low HP made things dicey. But perseverance paid off. At the 11 hour 47 minute mark, Inferno was cleared. An endgame PvM milestone, in under half a day.
Melee Training? Say No More
Now that range and prayer were in the bag, it was time to bulk up melee stats. The twist? Despite owning every melee weapon imaginable, training began with the Brine Sabre-a humorous contrast to the Tbow resting in the bank.
Using Skeletal Securis as the training ground, strength shot from 30 to 60+ in no time. XP rates soared to 137k/hour, boosted by items like the Bone Mace and Granite Maul. With 60 Strength unlocked, it was time to bring out the Dragon Warhammer-the cornerstone of any bossing setup.
Coliseum Conqueror
Next up was RuneScape's new endgame content: the Colosseum, a wave-based PvM challenge that demands focus and precision. With maxed gear across the board, our hero tackled wave after wave using the Venator Bow, Blowpipe, and Dragon Warhammer.
With 18 hours on the clock, the Colosseum was cleared. Another endgame PvM challenge conquered in less than a day.Max Mage & the Final Grind
With range, melee, and most PvM grinds completed, magic was the last goal. And nothing says “I'm filthy rich” quite like training magic using bolt enchanting all the way to level 75.
Getting 340k–450k XP/hour, the method was smooth, quick, and dead efficient. Dragon bolts gave the final push, and at level 75, the Ancestral set came out-best-in-slot magic gear. To top it all off, the final hour was spent flexing in the Wilderness Mage Bank, picking up a Magic Cape as a badge of honor.
24 Hours Later: Max Setup, Max Flex
As the clock hit 24 hours, this once-level 3 account had:
85+ Ranged, with Inferno Cape, Rigour, and Missouri.
80+ Defense, wearing Ancestral, Justiciar, and more.
60+ Melee stats, Dragon Warhammer in hand.
75+ Magic, full Ancestral, Imbued Heart, and MA2 Cape.
Completed Inferno and Colosseum, RuneScape's two biggest PvM endgame tests.
That's not just mid-game. That's endgame.
The Real MVP: Wealth
Sure, skill mattered. But the key to this insane 24-hour progress was raw financial power. With 10 billion GP, no resource was out of reach. Prayer was trained in seconds using altars and bone runners. Mage was leveled by crafting hearts. Range and melee stats were blasted through with black chins and top-tier weapons. There was no need to worry about armor progression, budget constraints, or grinding for GP.
This experiment wasn't just entertaining-it was a live-action test of just how far unlimited wealth can push progress in RuneScape. The answer? Pretty damn far.
Final Thoughts: The Most Gilded Noob Ever
In just 24 hours, this account went from nothing to endgame. It's a hilarious yet eye-opening example of how powerful RuneScape's economic engine is when you don't have to think about cheap OSRS GP.
But it also shows something more: even with everything bought, knowledge, experience, and decision-making still matter. There were glitches, misplays, learning curves, and personal bests. It wasn't just about buying victory-it was about chasing it.
So, could a new RuneScape player do this with 10 billion GP? Probably not. But in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, it turns out you can make it to the endgame in a single day.
TL;DR:
Start with 10b GP
Unlock 75+ prayer, 85+ ranged, 80+ defense, 75+ magic
Complete Inferno and Colosseum
End with best-in-slot gear across all styles
Total playtime: 24 hours
